Dr. Bryan’s Letter to His Patients

January 6, 2023

To my patients:

As you are likely now aware, I am closing my practice. I had planned a more graceful exit in a few months, but the abrupt loss of my office has accelerated the process drastically. This is not how I envisioned the conclusion of my career as a physician, but we often must adjust and adapt to life’s unexpected turns of fate. I know that this will create some inconvenience for many, and I am truly sorry for that, as I had expected to be able to provide you much more notice about the termination of my practice.

In parting, I thank you for entrusting me with the role of being one of your physicians. I appreciate the sometimes-blind faith that patients place in their doctors, and I hope I have been able to help you without disappointment. For my longstanding patients, whom I have been seeing for many years, I hope you will be able to establish a relationship with another otolaryngologist who will be able to assume the role that I was fulfilling for you, only better.

Many of you will need ongoing care, and fortunately, there are many well trained otolaryngologists to choose from within close proximity. I have confidence, therefore, that you will find one that you are happy with and who can meet your specific ENT concerns. To help you identify prospective physicians who can provide you with continuing care, I have included links in the patient Notice, which is posted on our website, to the searchable-by-specialty databases of physicians who are members of the Tarrant, Dallas, and Denton County Medical Societies. Using “otolaryngology” as the search term will provide you with lists that I believe include most practicing ENT doctors in the metroplex.

Best regards,

Michael D Bryan, MD
