DATE: January 10, 2023
NOTICE TO PATIENTS:
Unfortunately, our office experienced a flood on Dec 23rd, that caused extensive damage, and the building is closed for renovations that will take months. This development has created a significant challenge and has resulted in a fundamental change for appointments going forward. Dr. Bryan had already planned to leave the practice of medicine on April 15, 2023. Based on the current situation, this has accelerated the timeline, and Dr. Bryan is not accepting new patients as of Dec 26, 2022. He will continue to provide care to existing patients as delineated below, for the 30 days following the date of this notification (Jan 5, 2023), after which Dr. Bryan will not be available for any ongoing patient care.
POST OPERATIVE PATIENTS:
If you have undergone surgery with Dr. Bryan in the last 90 days, rest assured that he will manage your postoperative care needs. Through the generosity of local physicians, allowing us to temporarily utilize their offices, Dr. Bryan will maintain face to face office visits for needed post operative care, but scheduling may need to be altered. You will be contacted to arrange the time and place of these appointments. If you have questions regarding these instructions or have not heard from us within four days following your surgery, please contact us via email at [email protected], or call (817) 416-9731; option 3.
PATIENTS WITH PENDING DIAGNOSTIC TEST OR IMAGING RESULTS:
If you have imaging or test results pending review, we will arrange telemedicine visits to discuss those results. If you have an existing appointment for this purpose, it may have to be rescheduled, and we certainly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and you will be contacted to either confirm or suggest alternative times. If you have a pending test or imaging result, and do not have a follow-up appointment yet, please contact us at [email protected], or call (817) 416-9731; option 3, to schedule a telemedicine visit.
OTHER EXISTING PATIENTS:
Existing patients who are not in the postoperative phase of care and/or do not have pending test/imaging results to review, be advised that Dr. Bryan will have very reduced capacity to arrange for ongoing, non-urgent/non-emergent face-to-face care at this time. He advises you to consider establishing a relationship with another otolaryngologist who can provide care, but if your problem is not manageable in this way, you can contact us and we will try to accommodate you if possible.
URGENT OR EMERGENT PROBLEMS:
If you feel you have an urgent or emergent ENT problem that needs to be addressed promptly, Dr. Bryan will continue to be available to you within this 30 day period, but because of the limitation of not having an office that is available on demand, you may be directed to the emergency room at either THR Southlake Center for Diagnostics and Surgery (1545 E Southlake Blvd), or Methodist Hospital Southlake (421 E State Hwy 114, Southlake, TX). The emergency room staff will be able to contact Dr. Bryan for urgent or emergency needs, and if necessary, he could attend to you there. Please be aware that if your problem is determined not to be urgent or emergent, alternative management may ultimately be arranged. 660 W. Southlake Blvd, # 100 Telephone: 817-416-9731 Southlake TX 76092 Fax: 817-416-9751
